Good Heart

I know, I know I have been away for a long time. I have retired since I blogged last and I don't quite feel retired, yet. I don't plan to stay retired long--just through the summer. I have applied to teach in the private schools around San Antonio. The reason for the title of this piece is that I went and had a "Heartsaver CT" scan done yesterday and guess what???!!! I have NO plaque build-up in the arteries around my heart!!!! I have a good heart!!! That has really motivated me to try to lose this pre/post menapausal weight that I have been carrying around for the last 15 years. Patsy and I were talking last night and she said that she had read that if you never have had much plaque on your teeth that chances are that you would not have any in your arteries. Of course, that makes a lot of sense. Sooooo, I am doing OKEY DOKEY for a 60 and a half year old lady. I am a happy girl. I guess it does pay to live a "Dorothy Daydream" kind of life. Don't worry, Be Happy as the old saying goes.
